Built on the seashore and still known as "Palatium", it was the favorite residence of Octavian Augustus.
As a result of repeated raids, especially in the 19th century, few remains have survived. It covered an 850 meter long stretch of coastline. Amongst other things, the remains of an "exedra" and a small harbour basin, today known as "Bagni di Tiberio", can still be seen.

How to reach
In summer months it can be reached from the beach of Marina Grande by means of a motorboat service (10 mins.).
From Marina Grande, following the eponymous road, which starts in the vicinity of the Church of San Costanzo (30 mins.).
