Al Chiaro di Luna

Dining at Al Chiaro de Luna in Capri was one of those rare experiences where everything just clicks—ambience, food, and service all coming together effortlessly. We started with what turned out to be the best octopus appetizer we’ve ever had. Perfectly grilled—tender with just the right char—and plated like a piece of art. Every bite was balanced, flavorful, and memorable. For the main course, we had the catch of the day served with pasta, and it was outstanding. The fish was cooked beautifully, fresh and delicate, paired with pasta that complemented it perfectly without overpowering the dish. Again, the presentation was elegant and thoughtful. What truly elevated the experience was the service. Antonio served each dish with precision and care, adding a level of professionalism that made the meal feel special. And Domenico ensured everything flowed seamlessly, checking in just the right amount and making us feel genuinely welcomed. 10 out of 10. If you’re in Capri, this is a must.

We had dinner x my birthday and it was a sublime dinner with spectacular lobster linguine and a citrus bream scented with the aromas of goats with orange and lemons.... Very kind staff and a recognition in particular to Salvatore head of the room of undoubted professionalism and sympathy Great value for money.... if you go to this wonderful island you can not miss in qs location.

The restaurant and hotel is just outside Capri. You have to pay close attention to the signposts. The view of the pool and sea is fantastic. Very friendly we are welcomed and accompanied to the table. The service is always very friendly, attentive and highly professional. For lunch we are presented with the fresh fish and crustaceans. The menu also has many other special treats to offer. Everything fits and tastes perfect. The wine recommended also goes well with it. We haven't eaten this good in a long time.

The structure is a beautiful view of the sea surrounded by the nature of the island of capri. I had lunch with my wife and we ate very well. fresh and well prepared product. The staff was very welcoming, nice and very professional. The maitre d' has perfectly recommended the various lunch solutions as an alternative to the dishes on the menu. We had a pleasant day.
