We enjoyed a three-night stay at the Caesar Augustus in late September. Excellent all around, as usual. The hotel has been purchased by Gruppo Statuto Group and they closed a month early this year to begin renovations. Statuto Group has selected Four Seasons to operate the hotel, so the renovations should be first class. They are wisely keeping key personnel aboard the renovations and they have assured us that the ambiance of the hotel will continue. We certainly hope so, since this is our favorite hotel in the world.

My husband and I traveled all around Italy for 2 weeks recently. And our last stop was the Caesar Augustus Hotel. Oh. My. Gosh. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The room is not necessarily my style but who cares, the balcony with the view was just breathtaking. Literally could take your breath away, it's so high up! The grounds are just absolutely gorgeous, with the infinity pool and balconies everywhere you turn. There's also a really beautiful garden that you can walk through where they actually have vegetables and flowers planted. There is a beautiful little secret walkway that walks you right along the cliff! The level of service provided by the staff is second to none, top notch. The team at the outdoor bar and in the dining area for breakfast were absolutely wonderful, friendly and there to make you happy. Lourdes, the dining captain at breakfast was friendly and professional. I really loved the way she interacted with her staff. The breakfast and room service staff were kind and happy to help. Grazia, Etefania, Sara, and Eric made our dining experience absolutely wonderful. At the outside pool area, Rebecca, Saher and Danilo made sure we had everything we need poolside and made sure our drinks were flowing! I cannot say enough about this amazing Hotel! We were only there for 2 days so I can't wait to go back!

We have been to Capri once before, though only for a day trip by ferry from Naples. This time we are booking one of the most beautiful places in Italy in Anacapri, the Caesar Augustus! The hotel's location is breathtakingly beautiful with a magnificent view over the Gulf of Naples and as far as Salerno. The suites are beautiful and we are truly taken with the view. Insanely friendly staff from reception, service, room service, even the gardeners do their best! The pool and pool bar really make you look forward to summer. Breakfast is served in the restaurant with a great buffet; drinks and egg dishes are brought to you. The à la carte restaurant is incredibly good, the cuisine is multi-award winning, and the vegetables mostly come from their own garden. Watching the sunset from here is one of the most beautiful things we have ever seen. Enjoying a good drink on the large sun terrace with this extraordinary view... we feel privileged. A shuttle service takes you to Capri for shopping or strolling. We are renting a boat for a day trip around Capri, the Blue Grotto, a restaurant visit, and swimming. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had! We will definitely be back!

This place was great. Clean and lovely. I lost my wallet in a taxi and the staff were extremely helpful in helping me relocate it (I got it back). Thank you and would recommend.
