A Capri classic we would happily return to

Having stayed at Jumeirah Capri Palace on several occasions, we have had enough time here to see both its exceptional qualities and the small details that could be improved. First of all, this is a wonderful hotel. There is a sense of substantial, almost old-school Mediterranean luxury here that is becoming increasingly rare. The atmosphere of Anacapri, the service, beautiful public areas, pool and excellent restaurants create an experience that feels unmistakably Capri. Across our different bookings and stays we have spent around €10,000 at the hotel, and overall we remain very happy with the experience. That said, at this level and price point, some signs of wear become noticeable. Certain details would now benefit from renovation and refreshing. We hope any future renovation is done delicately. Capri Palace should become fresher without becoming generic. Its slightly grand, established character is part of its charm. Five stars because the overall experience absolutely deserves them. We would happily return - and probably will.

Not A Luxury Hotel As Advertised

We stayed at Jumeirah Capri Palace this summer and the experience was awful from the moment we walked in. Our room had crumbs and dirt on the floor on arrival. Both the air conditioner and the shower were broken, and despite numerous complaints, no repair was ever provided. When we asked to be moved, the front desk and the manager refused to transfer us to a different room and were dismissive and rude about it. The concierge was equally unhelpful and would not assist with booking dinner or activity reservations. For a hotel at this price point, the complete indifference to basic guest needs was stunning. I would not stay here again and strongly advise anyone looking at this hotel to reconsider.

The most amazing trip at Capri Palace from beginning to end! We went back for our anniversary after getting married there last year and were treated like royalty. Truly the best hotel on the island!

The Jumeirah Capri Palace is located in Anacapri, the highest town on the Island of Capri. From the hotel, you can easily visit the villa of Axel Munthe, the historic center, the Church of San Michele with it beautiful floor, and the Museo della Casa Rossa.
The chairlift to the top of Mount Solaro is located steps from the hotel, and there is a taxi stand and bus stop to reach Capri nearby.
