Da Gemma - Le Ondine

I visited Capri for a day trip and made a reservation at Da Gemma several weeks in advance because of its convenient location near the ferry port and bus station. As my plans evolved, I realized getting to Anicapri would take more time than expected, so I reached out to see if they could adjust my reservation. They were incredibly accommodating and happily moved it back a few hours without any issue. I also mentioned that this was a special occasion and asked if it would be possible to have one of the best seats with ocean views—and they absolutely delivered. They went above and beyond to create a memorable experience, seating us in an incredible spot with breathtaking views. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food was just as impressive. Between the outstanding hospitality, flexibility, and beautiful setting, this was easily one of the highlights of my time in Capri. I can’t recommend Da Gemma enough for anyone visiting the island.

Excellent restaurant, perfect location right on the seafront. We booked to go for lunch after having a look around Capri. Was the perfect location to catch our ferry back to Ischia. The food and service was excellent, we ordered several courses and all were excellent. Highly recommend
