Fuorlovado 40 is a small guest house in the center of Capri named for its street address on one of the most charming lanes in the center of Capri town. Just outside, guests can stroll past the small boutiques and famous restaurants that line Via Fuorlovado and Via le Botteghe to get to the Piazzetta, the funicular station, and the bus terminal for destinations across the island.

A perfect location, both central and quiet.

The guest rooms at Fuorlovado 40 are all recently renovated in a modern, minimalist style. Each room has free wifi, air conditioning, and courtesy sets. Superior rooms also have espresso machines in the room.

Great Position, Even Better Host

These wonderful apartments are situated right in the middle of the village and the upmarket shopping and dining areas, with two well stocked mini markets selling delicious fresh fruit and yoghurts, within a two minute walk. The host, Antonio, greeted us as if we were long lost relatives, which by the time we left we felt we were. His knowledge of the island is great, and even knows how to get you into restaurants that say they are fully booked. Unlike some hosts he was easily contactable via WhatsApp and no request was too much trouble. The apartment was nicely decorated and spotlessly cleaned each day with new sheets, towels and the drinks in the bar fridge replenished free of charge. This small establishment is testament to the the old adage,”treat people with respect and kindness and they will return”, which we will.

Muito bem recebido. O anfitrião nos tratou com muita gentileza, dando várias dicas e mimos. O quarto é novo, limpo e próximo a praça principal. O anfitrião, Antônio, fala português. Recomendo muito aos brasileiros que visitarem Capri e pretendo voltar.

Antonio is the best host ever

After arriving in Capri, I was contacted via WhatsApp and provided directions to the accommodation. I had a suitcase and came out to the city center to help. He recommended restaurants and even prepared champagne since it was our honeymoon. On the last day, I went to Blue Cape with my room key and it was so late that I couldn't take my suitcase, but he kindly took care of everything. This is a friendly, cost-effective accommodation that I recommend if you are going to Capri.

Superou nossas expectativas. Quarto limpo e espaçoso, muito bem equipado com secador, cofre, geladeira, armário e cafeteira. Tinha uma sacadinha ao ar livre super gostosa. Cama confortável e banheiro espaçoso. Suuuuper bem localizado na parte alta de capri, a poucos minutos a pé da Piazzeta. Fizemos tudo a pé. Antônio foi um anfitrião super prestativo que nos ajudou com tudo dando dicas e fazendo reservas. Custo benefício 10/10. Não deixou nada a desejar pra experiência em hotel. Super recomendo.
