Excellent experience

Sought-after venue, few tables, elaborate menu, high quality. We visited this venue to celebrate our anniversary, and it was an excellent choice. The tasting menu is accompanied by niche wines from Campania that did not disappoint us, including sparkling Caprettone, made from grapes grown on the slopes of Vesuvius, Fiano, Palummo pears, and absolutely high-quality meditation wines. Regarding the costs... we are in Capri, and everything here is very expensive, but there is a lot of refinement; it is worth it. A final mention goes to the staff, who are extremely competent.

Magical experience in a magical location

In a location that gives a sense of timeless magic in the evening in May (Marina Piccola in Capri), Gennaro Amitrano offers his vision of Neapolitan tradition. Everything was very good and the service was attentive. Personally, I recommend it because it stands out significantly from the usual Capri restaurants overwhelmed by tourism. My (unsolicited) advice is to better qualify the offering: today it seems to me not enough to be at the level of a Michelin star but too refined to be mass market. I like the concept, but it seems to me that the market feedback is not very positive. Anyway, I always appreciate it all!

Golden Wedding Anniversary

We had lunch on our Golden Wedding Anniversary and received a warm welcome from Gennaro and Marianna. The 5-course tasting menu was delicious and varied. The accompanying wines complemented the food and were different to the Italian wine we get in the UK. The setting of the restaurant is very peaceful, away from the crowds with a beautiful view. It was a most memorable way to celebrate 50 years of marriage with wonderful food a superb setting with the kindest hosts. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate. The meal was truly good value and service without doubt attentive and friendly. We wish we could dine there every week Thank you Genanaro and Marianna
