A day to forget......both the terrible lunch......and the bill....where the receipt arrived directly......without the description of what we had.....only the friendliness and politeness of the waiters to be saved....to be forgotten..::

Even though it was August 7th and we were a couple, there were few people, and the aperitif was not only of good quality but served by polite staff. The place needs no description.

The last piece of an authentic Capri… you dive in and arrive at the Blue Grotto. Sun terraces wide open to a sea as blue as it gets. You eat divine, authentic cuisine: very fresh fish, calamarata, eggplant meatballs, ravioli with provola… and the best coffee cream. Excellent price-quality ratio….

First of all, you are a customer and not a tourist to be ripped off. Smiles, jokes, and lots of excellent Capri cuisine, well-managed by Mauro on a terrace overlooking the sea. Excellent pasta dishes, with a lobster spaghetti that stands out! A yellowtail and mango carpaccio that is simply amazing. Desserts, coffee, and a homemade bitter orange liqueur are a worthy end to a pleasant lunch. An honest bill, but not as honest as Tonino (the owner) who chased us to the taxis because one of us forgot her purse.... Ristorante Gradola is elected a MUST-STOP when you are in Capri.
