  1. The location: near to the Piazzetta and Marina Piccola
  2. The warm welcome of a small, family-run hotel
  3. Bathing in the sun on your private balcony

If you think Capri is all about flashy five star hotels, designer shops and luxury yachts - think again! This beautiful Italian island has a number of surprisingly affordable little gems too: places like Hotel Il Guarracino.

We stayed in July at this hotel for a couple of days I would say that the price of the room was not appropriate if it were not for the good enough location and And because you are in Capri.😂 anyway we had a good breakfast very kind staff.

Great location with AMAZING HOSPITALITY!!! We reserved three rooms for our family. The rooms were very spacious, and very clean. The service was impeccable and the owners and staff went above and beyond. We were close to the town square and the beach clubs! Highly recommend!

How long have we wanted to get to Capri and how we planned this trip. But life always makes its own adjustments, and due to cancellations/changes of flights, we were not able to stay here for 3 days as we wanted, but only got one night. From Naples the only way to Capri is by ferry. It is better to book tickets in advance. I bought them while on the train from Rome to Naples. and it wasn’t at the time we wanted, but only 1.5-2 hours later. And it’s also better to book a return ticket in advance. We were traveling on an empty ferry and they didn’t sell tickets for it! That is, you can only buy a ticket on the spot for the ferry in a few hours. At least that's how it was for us. And this is out of season. So it was not possible to arrive early. We arrived on the island only at 3 o'clock. It took us a long time to choose a hotel. Several options were ordered. Here the location, price, reviews and the possibility of canceling for free coincided (this was very important to us) The hotel is very pleasant - essentially a small guest house. A special quest is to get to the hotel, and I think anyone in Capri. The first impression begins at the port when boarding a taxi. All cars are interesting sizes with very colorful drivers. The road is a mountain serpentine - this is the second impression. The most interesting thing began when the driver dropped us off in the middle of the road near the stairs, waving his hand to the left - you should go there. To get there, it’s a few steps down the stairs and then walk along a narrow street for several minutes looking at everything with your mouth agape. Each door is either a hotel or a residential building, fortunately there are signs. We found everything the first time and it was even interesting. The rooms were ready for our arrival. The rooms are spacious. Comfortable bed. There is a nice balcony with stunning views of the mountains and a bit of the sea. It’s such a thrill to sit on this balcony with a glass of wine in silence and contemplation. Naturally, we immediately went for a walk. The hotel is very well located from the main street and the funicular. By the way, the funicular is a good option to get here from the port and back. We did not have a goal to directly see all the sights. We just walked around, admired it, and were impressed. We had dinner at a very good restaurant, which by the way is very close to the hotel, opposite the taxi stop. Late in the evening, satisfied, we returned to the hotel. In the morning there was no one at breakfast except us. In general, it feels like we are almost the only guests in the hotel. Well, in fact, the season has not yet begun, so this is not surprising, although there are a lot of people on the island. They bring groups for the day. Everyone is hanging out. Of course, we only spent one day and night here. We really liked the hotel. Very cozy. Breakfast was quite decent, there was some cold cuts, mozzarella, and pastries. So everything is on the level. At the same time, you can sip coffee on a beautiful veranda with a stunning view. Then we walked up the streets and stairs again to the taxi stand and left for the port on the ferry. If we could return to fabulous Capri, I think we would return to this hotel
