Il Gabbiano

My boyfriend and I from Bari went to “il gabbiano” during our excursion to Capri. It is a bar-restaurant that offers excellent service and excellent quality food with good value for money. The waiters are all kind and helpful; we had the pleasure of being welcomed by Nazario: very nice, very kind, and professional. I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Capri, whether they are Italian or coming from abroad!

When a Sicilian leaves his Sicily even for pleasure trips, he always hopes to find a place that makes him feel at home; this is exactly what happened to me today with my family. Impeccable, kind, and friendly staff, excellent food. The owners welcomed us as if they had known us forever. Not to mention the surprise they made for my daughter on her birthday! Best wishes to all the staff to always work like today.

The best bar in Capri, not to be missed! What can I say about the whole island. Fantastic staff, everyone is kind, caring, and smiling (Carlo is number 1). A historic family from Capri that treats every person as if they were at home. Excellent food, top quality, the best there is in Marina Grande. The things I prefer the most are the ice-cold draft beer, the sandwich, and some first courses they prepare for when you go boating. You should really go there and try their historic Caprese sandwich with prosciutto and the fantastic refreshing beer!!

Beautiful place, friendly and pleasant waitstaff. Dishes that are not too abundant but good. The owner Nazario is great!
