Il Gabbiano

Differentiated service in Capri. A lot of attention from Carlo, who is the owner, and all the waiters, especially Salvatore. Carlo came to the table, talked, and gently offered the dishes of the day. He was very attentive. The food is very good, cold beer and fair prices. They don't rush you, nor push things on you like several restaurants around here. I will definitely return and highly recommend it. We were very well served and felt like we were in our own country. (a rare thing around here)

Carlo is the absolute best and made us feel exactly like family! If you’re ever in Capri Bar Il Gabbiano is the perfect place to start or end your day and anything in between. The best the best! Will be back!

My boyfriend and I from Bari went to “il gabbiano” during our excursion to Capri. It is a bar-restaurant that offers excellent service and excellent quality food with good value for money. The waiters are all kind and helpful; we had the pleasure of being welcomed by Nazario: very nice, very kind, and professional. I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Capri, whether they are Italian or coming from abroad!
