Dreadful experience Has gluten free on the menu but I don’t think they have any understanding as to what this means. Additionally when finally ordered a ceasar salad without croutons it arrived and the chicken was horrific, was rock hard and looked like had been left out for days Would not recommend

If you are visiting Capri, make sure to stop by and see Carlo and the family at Il Gabbiano in the Marina Grande, Capri. the food is terrific, the drinks fantastic, but Carlo makes all the difference in the world. Located behind the area where departing ferries dock, there is a lot going on and if you are looking for your luggage and trying to understand how the ferry lines work, Carlo and Il Gabbiano make everything slow down for you! Carlo is the best ambassador Capri could have. He is quick to make you feel at ease, explain what is going on amidst the chaos, and make sure you are well taken care of. We had plenty of time to enjoy and bite, have some drinks, and make our ferry. I only wish we have food Il Gabbiano before we left, we would have been able to spend more time at the restaurant! Thanks again Carlo and family!

The gelato was plain bad .. I had the pistachio flavour and all it tasted was sweet! Thanks to the tiny scoops, there wasn’t much to eat.
