Il Geranio restaurant is a diamond set in "Mediterranean pearl"!

Imperial island since the time of Augusto and Tiberio, who chose it for their imperial residence, Capri is a rare and beautiful jewel to be discovered and admired inch by inch along its enchanting itineraries. Parco Augusto was built in the last century, commissioned by Alfred Krupp, a german engineer. Its beautiful gardens, situated on a rocky terrace, provide a marvellous display of flowers and shrubs in every season of the year.

The restaurant Il Geranio overlooks these magnificent gardens, giving a stunning view on the Faraglioni as well to its clients.
Geranio's seasonal Neapolitan and Mediterranean cuisine is made using excellent seafood and sun-ripened fruit and vegetables.

We held our wedding reception here. A small party of 8, with everyone making different choices - all were superb. Top marks from my grandson (8) who was especially happy with the chefs interpretation of his exacting pasta requirements! Attentive but not overbearing service by excellent staff.

Great views from the tables, the waiters were ok, no advice offered regarding any of the food. The food itself although tasted good, was of a measly proportion, the steak was well undercooked. Left still feeling hungry, not recommended for the price.

Non consiglierei questo locale, c'è molto di meglio a prezzi più onesti, anche per Capri. Il servizio è stato frettoloso, il cameriere al tavolo serviva noi e mentre parlava guardava da altre parti, che maleducazione. Il cibo è scarso, le porzioni sono assaggi con prezzi allucinanti. Abbiamo chiesto consiglio al cameriere e abbiamo ordinato i due primi del giorno, peccato che erano i più costosi e ovviamente nel menu il prezzo non c'è, che truffa. Più di 100€ per due assaggi di primi e una 1/2 bottiglia di vino da 18€, non ne vale proprio. Sconsigliato.
