The restaurant is amazing . We had mix feelings about it because of the reviews but we love it . The food was amazing and amazing room full of sweets .

Eccellenza assoluta. Il direttore Roberto e la direttrice Imma sanno benissimo cosa vuole dire accogliere e far stare bene l’ospite di questa incredibile struttura. In cucina lo chef Salvatore valorizza ed esalta la cucina locale con piatti eccellenti. Una tappa gastronomica imperdibile se si visita l’isola di Capri. Complimenti a tutto lo staff. Ciliegina sulla torta la nuova apertura del locale a-Ma-Re, osteria e pizzeria sopra la grotta Azzurra.

DONT GO HERE! They treated us horribly. I don’t know if it is because we didn’t show up dripping in Chanel or what, but I was really looking forward to this place, and it was disappointing. They took our food away before we were finished with every course. Stared at us while we at so they could come clear our plates and seemed like they wanted us out, even though it was a rainy day in May and no one was there. I said something to the manager, and she was kind and offered us a free round of drinks. She was the highlight for sure. Then they told us they would call us a taxi, and it never came. We waited outside in the pouring rain until another taxi offered us a ride. It’s also REALLY complicated to get to, and on a super undesirable part of the island. Also, WAY over priced. The food and service at Dao Paolino and La Fontelina were better. Go there instead! By the way we spent 255 euro, so it’s not like we cheaped out!

You cannot leave Capri island before stopping at Il Riccio Restaurant and Beach Club, the most iconic place of the island. Start with one of the signature cocktails at Il Riccio Lounge, where Roberto and Gennaro take care of everything in detail. We suggest the Bloody Mafia - this is one of their creations and it is amazing. Then step down into the Restaurant and enjoy an incredible lunch sea view. Imma, Roberto and Anaelle are incredible and will make your experience even more memorable thanks to their expertise and great team, they are all super professional and service follows high level standards. We had a tuna tartare, the signature dish “Spaghettoni ai ricci di mare”, ravioli and “frittura”. And at the end, to finish your wonderful lunch, step into the “Temptation Room” where you will find all possible desserts displayed in such an exclusive room - design and art everywhere, you will wish to never leave. This location is also very well know for weddings and party celebrations - don’t miss the opportunity to experience the Italian Dolce Vita at Il Riccio!
