Il Saraceno

Traveling with my family and stopped off at Anacapri. Had dinner at Il Saraceno. Our waiter, and owner Cafiero, was fantastic. The food was delicious. Freshly made and so tasteful. I would totally recommend you stop and dine here.

Local in a pretty corner of Anacapri. Friendly and welcoming staff. The pizza is decent, but other dishes modest and disappointing. In particular, a so-called caponata turned out to be a very poor dish with seasoned bread and rare pieces of tomato, all for 15 euros. In short, you risk eating very little and spending way too much (which, in truth, unfortunately happens in almost all the beautiful island!).

Pizzeria with wood oven where we enjoyed a product made to perfection (soft dough , crispy cornice , fresh ingredients). Also good as a restaurant of typical cuisine. Courteous service. Family atmosphere. Price ok.

Took over 1.5 hrs for food to arrive and even then was not complete order. Difficult to enjoy our food after this experience. Lots of other annoyed people in the restaurant. Ended up taking som to another restaurant afterwards who served us in 15 mins.
