La canzone del cielo

September 6th 2024. 11:10am. As I go to use the restroom I see the waiter who was serving the clients upstairs leaving the restroom without washing his hands. Few minutes later I see him serving drinks to people upstairs. Hygiene is minimum.

We ordered ham and cheese sandwiches of the menu. We brought them down and sat them on the table next to us. The handled them and then told them that it wasn't their order. He picked it up and dumped it on our table despite the other customers having already handled it. He was rude and aggressive when I pointed this out. My husband agreed to take the sandwiches. When the bill came he had charged us for a ham and cheese baguette when was more expensive. I tole him that this was not what I ordered and he really didn't care. Soft drinks were €9. There are very nice restaurant's/shops in anicapri, wait until you go back down and have something better.

We had lunch at La Canzone Del Cielo after taking the chairlift up Mount Solaro and spending 20 mins taking pictures and taking in the spectacular views. This place seems to get very mixed reviews and I wonder if it depends on the time of year. We went in April when it was very quiet (hardly any tourists) and the food was fine and the service great.

I love taking the chair lift up to the top and enjoying a Hugo Spritz. Theirs is the best. The views are amazing. Snacks will accompany your beverage. I haven't ordered a meal there yet, but maybe next time. This is a truly unique experience. Get the HUGO!
