La Capannina's menu includes all the best loved local dishes, including sea food scialatielli, stuffed calamari, linguine with red fish and, of course, ravioli capresi, the island's legendary pasta dish, famous in the United States after having been featured on Giada De Laurentiis's Food Network.

La Capannina's wine list contains over 400 labels from the most highly prized Italian and international wine producers. All the wines featured are also available for purchase in the nearby La Capannina Più, shop created by the De Angelis family's as point of sale for high quality wines, spirits and a variety of gastronomic delicacies as well as 'luxury accessories for your house and boat!

Capri by night

La Capannina Bar, situated opposite the restaurant is one of the island's favorite evening venues, where to partake in a glass or two of excellent wine or a cocktail. A tempting selection of sweet and savory nibbles provides the perfect accompaniment.
The bar has been designed so as to recreate the atmosphere of Capri's most elegant villas, furnished with period prints and pavements in terracotta. Soft background music contributes to the wonderfully relaxing atmosphere pervading both the inside sitting areas and the attractive, open air courtyard.

Historic restaurant in Capri, we ate well, actually very well, food of excellent quality, everything delicious, nothing to say, service very good, clean and comfortable.. Nothing to say, I would just like to find it again..

We thought we had booked a meal at another restaurant but it turned out to be this one and all I can say is ‘thank goodness’ as it was excellent. To begin with, my wife had the ‘fiori di zucchini’ which was basically stuffed courgettes with Parmesan cheese while mine was the peppered mussels. Both were very tasty. For the mains, it was grilled prawns for my wife who could not believe the size of them when they arrived or their excellent taste. I went with the classic tagliatelle alla bolognese which was also very good as was the red wine we had with the meal. The chaps who served us were very friendly and helpful and Christian, who took our order and asked what we felt about the meal during and at the end, was extremely engaging and added to our evening. The ambiance of the restaurant was very good and what we saw from photos on the wall, it was clear that some celebrities had also eaten there. One of the best dining experiences we had had whilst in Italy.

Wonderful first evening in Capri, characteristic and welcoming restaurant, the food was very good and the prices were in line with those on the island, the little show in the middle of the evening with typical music was also nice! An extra note for the kindness and advice of the waiter who took care of us, Eugenio! Thank you

Super restaurant! Amazing service and attitude. The staff was very attentive and observant. Whenever a glass was empty, it was immediately refilled. The waiters also interacted with the customers in a very friendly and engaging way. The food was absolutely amazing. I would definitely come back!
