La Palette

A really enjoyable evening at La Palette for a couple's dinner. The view is beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and chilled, without feeling crowded, which made it perfect for a quiet dinner together. The food was very good throughout, and we paired it with a nice bottle of wine that suited the meal well. Prices felt quite fair for what you get, especially considering this is Capri. Service was another highlight: the staff were friendly, attentive and made the whole experience even better. A great choice for a relaxed, romantic dinner on the island. Would happily go back.

The location alone is extraordinary: arguably the most spectacular vantage point in Capri, overlooking Marina Piccola. Whether at midday under the sharp Mediterranean light or at sunset as the island softens into gold, the setting is simply breathtaking. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance between refinement and authenticity. A team of young professionals brings genuine passion to their work—attentive, thoughtful, and deeply committed to creating a seamless experience. The cuisine is equally compelling. The menu is rooted in the traditions of Capri, with a strong focus on fish, yet elevated through subtle reinterpretations that never lose respect for the original flavors. Each dish feels both familiar and carefully reimagined. Service is impeccable from the very first interaction. From the initial call to the final farewell, every detail is handled with precision and warmth. For those who truly appreciate understated excellence, this is one of Capri’s most rewarding discoveries.

We had a lovely meal here celebrating my Birthday! The food was very good, with the chef even making my Son something that wasn't on the menu. A magical evening and experience. The only change we would recommend would be to play more easy chill out tunes to better reflect the mood and atmosphere.

I am rating this restaurant a 3 because the view was absolutely beautiful. However, out of the 7 people at our table, none of us were a fan of the food. The drinks were great, along with the view and atmosphere. But, I wouldn’t go here for a meal again. The staff was absolutely lovely!
