La Palette

Really lovely meal with fantastic views. The staff were really attentive and fully understood that I had a fish allergy. Food was fantastic and we couldn’t fault it. It is worth the walk to experience a lovely meal and great views.

If you are on Capri you MUST have dinner at La Palette. The food is so fresh and so delicious you will love it. We started with the fish of the day tartare, it was tuna on a bed of cherry tomatoes with tomato water ans was the best tartare ever! We the ordered the guanchiale and the sea bass and both dishes were 11/10. This place is worth the trip!!

Mixed feelings. The fish I ordered was not fish, but instead turned out to be pasta with fish sauce (fist I did not see any fish at all and thought that it was a side dish of pasta and that the fish will come later on another plate). My daugter was very happy though, with her lobster, and the service and view was excellent.

I dare say mediocre given the expectations. First of all they should say that to get to the restaurant you have to walk uphill for fifteen minutes along a narrow and dark street (and if you are elderly or disabled?). And then you expect a breathtaking view from an immense terrace. It's actually a closed, covered terrace and you realize the photos are misleading. Good quality food but nothing exciting. I don't deserve top ten reviews. we'll see the bill
