WHOEVER DESIGNED THIS HOTEL DESERVES AN AWARD, A RAISE, AND PERHAPS THEIR OWN NETFLIX SERIES! 😂✨ Capri La Palma is an absolute MASTERCLASS in design, elegance, and sophisticated Italian chic. We have stayed at some spectacular luxury hotels, but this property really stood out for its impeccable attention to detail, fresh and happy atmosphere, and an aesthetic so thoughtfully executed that I wanted to inspect every single corner. If you appreciate gorgeous interiors, beautiful architecture, and the kind of design that makes your heart skip a beat, welcome to your happy place! THE DESIGN: ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, ARE YOU TAKING NOTES? I am convinced that whoever decorated this hotel is the world’s most fabulous perfectionist. The attention to detail is almost obsessive in the BEST possible way. Let’s talk about the antique brass finishes throughout the rooms. They weren’t just used on the obvious things, like the faucets and bathroom fixtures. Oh no, darling. These people committed to the VISION. The same beautiful brass finish appeared on the wall sconces, toilet brush, toilet paper holder, bidet fixtures, and even the tiny lids on the Q-tip and cotton jars! WHO DOES THAT?! Someone who understands that true luxury lives in the details. Everything felt cohesive, intentional, and beautifully considered. The rooms were fresh, bright, chic, and wonderfully uplifting, with a harmonious quality that made the whole place feel almost Feng Shui-like. You walk in and immediately feel happy. It’s the sort of hotel that makes you want to go home and redecorate your entire house. And the complimentary amenities! They gave us the most gorgeous beach bag and Capri beach flip-flops, which I absolutely LOVED. These weren’t sad little throwaway souvenirs, either. They were stylish, thoughtful extras that made the experience feel even more special. I am a sucker for a hotel that understands the assignment! The lobby is stunning, and the staircase deserves a standing ovation of its own. That gorgeous curved marble-slab banister is an architectural feature you could admire for days. The whole space is so elegant and beautifully proportioned that it genuinely belongs in Architectural Digest. If it hasn’t already been featured, AD, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Even the hotel’s exterior façade is iconic, and you’ll quickly understand why so many tourists stop to photograph themselves in front of it. This hotel is practically a fashion editorial waiting to happen. THE BEACH CLUB: CAPRI DREAMS COME TO LIFE. 🌊 The hotel’s beach club is an absolute MUST. The sea is this gorgeous turquoise-green color that looks almost unreal, and the swimming area is beautiful. When you arrive, your sun loungers, fresh towels, and umbrellas are all ready and waiting for you. No scrambling around, no fuss, no unnecessary drama. Just pure Italian seaside bliss. And then there’s the restaurant, which is an experience in itself. It feels as though you’re dining right on top of the water because the restaurant extends out over the sea. The views are spectacular, the setting is incredibly cool, and the food is every bit as delicious as what we enjoyed at the hotel. Speaking of food, we absolutely loved the restaurant at Capri La Palma. Everything was delicious, and the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Javier, the chef, who took such wonderful care of us. It’s always a pleasure when the culinary experience matches the beauty of the surroundings, and here it absolutely did. BUT THE REAL MAGIC? THE PEOPLE. OH, THE PEOPLE! ❤️ For all its spectacular design and fabulous amenities, what truly made Capri La Palma unforgettable was its staff. We encountered so many wonderful people who made us feel genuinely welcome, cared for, and downright adored. First, let’s talk about Mikele at the front desk. Oh, Mikele! We absolutely fell in love with this handsome, charming gentleman. 😂❤️ He didn’t simply answer questions or hand us recommendations. He practically took charge of making our Capri experience extraordinary. He helped organize our outings and went so far as to plug all the places we should visit into our Google Maps, creating a route so we could hit the right spots on our way to the beach club. Now THAT is service! Thoughtful, proactive, personalized, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible time. Mikele, darling, if we return to Capri, we’re coming back to see you! Then there’s Rosa at the front desk, whom we absolutely loved. She was another wonderful part of the hotel’s warm and welcoming team, and we were so happy to have met her. And Louisa at breakfast deserves a special mention, too. She made us feel so happy and welcome every morning. There’s something wonderful about starting your day with someone whose warmth genuinely lifts your spirits, and Louisa did exactly that. She made breakfast feel less like a hotel service and more like being welcomed by a friend. AND THEN THERE’S GIUSY. THE GENERAL MANAGER. AN ABSOLUTE FORCE OF NATURE! 🇮🇹❤️ Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? Giusy is the embodiment of everything we adore about Italian hospitality. Originally from Capri, she is elegant, charismatic, charming, warm, and fabulously personable. We became fast friends, and by the end of our stay, we were hugging and kissing goodbye like long-lost relatives! She has that wonderful Italian gift of making you feel immediately connected to her, as though you’ve known each other forever. There’s an effortless glamour and genuine warmth about her that is impossible to manufacture. She doesn’t just manage a hotel; she brings its personality to life. Giusy, we loved you beyond words. You made our stay so personal and memorable that I would honestly return to Capri La Palma just to see you and Mikele again. That is how much of an impression you made on us! When a general manager creates that kind of atmosphere, you know there’s something special happening behind the scenes. The warmth we experienced throughout the property speaks volumes about the culture and leadership of this hotel. SO, WHAT CAR WOULD CAPRI LA PALMA BE? A MASERATI, OF COURSE! 🏎️ If the St. Regis Rome was our Maybach, Anantara Amalfi our Porsche 911 Carrera, and Caruso our Rolls-Royce, then Capri La Palma is unquestionably a Maserati. Sleek. Chic. Stylish. Design-forward. Italian to its core. A little sexy, incredibly sophisticated, and with an unmistakable personality all its own. This hotel doesn’t rely solely on grand historic architecture or traditional opulence. Its luxury comes from impeccable design, thoughtful details, a fresh and joyful atmosphere, fabulous amenities, delicious food, and people who genuinely care. It’s the sort of place that feels modern and fashionable without sacrificing warmth. A hotel with taste, character, and a very clear sense of identity. OUR FINAL VERDICT: CAPRI LA PALMA, YOU ABSOLUTE GEM! 🍋🥂 We had an overwhelmingly positive experience and genuinely hope to return. The design alone is worth admiring, the beach club is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the location and iconic façade make the hotel feel quintessentially Capri. But what will stay with us most are the people: Giusy, Mikele, Rosa, Louisa, Javier, and the entire team who made us feel so happy to be there. A beautiful hotel is wonderful. A beautiful hotel that makes you feel loved is something else entirely. Capri La Palma managed to give us both. Would we return? IN A HEARTBEAT. Would we recommend it? ABSOLUTELY. Did we want to take the beach bag, the flip-flops, and half the decor home with us? You bet! 😂 Huge kudos to the designers, decorators, management, and entire staff for creating such a fresh, elegant, happy, and beautifully considered luxury experience. Best place to stay in Capri. Iconic, unique, true 5 star property, 5 star location, and 5 star service. La Palma is fresh and new. Waking up to breakfast each morning on the patio was a perfect way to start each day. The white glove service to get from the Marina Grande to the hotel and back to the Marina Grande made transfers seamless. Special thanks to the excellence of the team - especially Alex at the front of the hotel, Vita at Casa Tua, and Giuseppe at the Marina Grande. Highly recommend.

We stayed at La Palma in Capri for three nights and four days, at the end of June/early July, and from beginning to end, the experience was simply exceptional. There are hotels that impress you, and then there are hotels that somehow become part of the memory of the destination itself. For us, La Palma was very much the latter. Everything felt beautifully considered without ever feeling forced. The atmosphere, design, location, rooms, cleanliness and attention to detail were all outstanding. But what truly elevated our stay was the concierge team — quite simply one of the best we have ever experienced. They seemed to understand exactly what we needed, sometimes before we even had to ask. Reservations, recommendations, arrangements and all the small details that can make such a difference in Capri were handled effortlessly. They were knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely warm, without ever making the service feel formal or transactional. That level of concierge service changes a holiday. Instead of spending your time organizing, following up or wondering what to do next, you simply enjoy Capri. For four days, we felt completely looked after. There was an ease to the entire stay that is difficult to describe: waking up in Capri, breakfast, wandering through the island, returning to La Palma, the atmosphere in the evenings — somehow the hotel made the whole experience feel a little more magical. What I appreciated most was that La Palma never seemed to be trying too hard to prove that it was luxurious. The luxury was in how effortlessly everything worked. Some hotel stays are wonderful while you are there. A few stay with you long after you leave. La Palma is one of those. Our three nights and four days at La Palma were a dream. A beautiful hotel on a beautiful island, with an exceptional team behind it — and a concierge service that sets the standard for what a great hotel concierge should be. We left wishing we had stayed longer. 10 stars without hesitation.

Hotel La Palma was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our stay in Capri. The experience was flawless from the very beginning. The arrival process was incredibly well organized, with outstanding assistance from the port all the way to the hotel, making check-in feel effortless and genuinely luxurious. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and extremely comfortable, with a refined design that perfectly captures the sophistication of Capri. Every detail feels carefully considered. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with an excellent selection, beautiful presentation, and consistently attentive service. The pool area is equally impressive—stylish, relaxing, and very well maintained, with fantastic service throughout the day. What really sets Hotel La Palma apart, however, is the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The level of service throughout the hotel was outstanding and made us feel exceptionally well looked after. A truly luxurious property with impeccable service, beautiful accommodations, and an unbeatable atmosphere in the heart of Capri. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend Hotel La Palma to anyone looking for an exceptional stay on the island.
