Guests dining at the Terrazza di Lucullo, Hotel Caesar Augustus' highly acclaimed restaurant, are presented with menus rooted in Southern Italy's age-old culinary traditions and, in particular, the simple, yet flavour-packed cooking of Campania, Puglia and Sicily.

Chef Edoardo Vuolo's contemporary Mediterranean cuisine embraces the cooking of all three regions, resulting in sensational dishes which exalt the aromas and freshness of the locally sourced ingredients used. Then there are the traditional specialities of Capri, somehow all the more delectable when eaten on the restaurant's breathtakingly panoramic terrace.

La Terrazza di Lucullo's dining areas reflect the refined elegance of the hotel. In the main dining room as on the terrace, the view over the Bay of Naples forms the most enchanting backdrop at any time of the day or night.

Bello per un pranzo informale in piscina.Gentilezza e cortesia del personale, cibo buono. Pessimo per una cena elegante, praticamente inaccessibile con tacchi alti ed abito lungo poiché si deve camminare su viale e scale grezze non asfaltate.Inimmaginabile che un hotel 5 stelle abbia solo quel ristorante distaccato dal corpo principale dell’hotel e praticamente inaccessibile se piove. Indicato per un pranzo in piscina o cena informale ma non per cena elegante. Consiglierei altro ristorante interno all’hotel per cene eleganti come si addice ad hotel di lusso quali il San Pietro di Positano o Hassler a Roma che io frequento.La prima volta che trovo in hotel 5 stelle un unico ristorante informale e non uno elegante come quello che era presente in hotel anni fa.

A very relaxed atmosphere with one of the greatest views I have ever seen in a restaurant. Very friendly and professional staff. A bit on the pricier side but I would prefer to go here for a longer evening and special occasion.

This is not just a nice and elegant restaurant with a beautiful view, but a real fine dining place with food which is most of the time creative, and always of the highest quality. If you cannot afford the 5 stars fantastic hotel and infinity pool, pumper yourself at least with an inventive cocktail at the bar before going to dinner! The staff is attentive and nice but, at least during the evening we were there, they lost quite a bit control of the situation as soon as more customers arrived. Pity! But we forgive them! :)

Incredibly beautiful and delicious restaurant – 10 out of 10! This place is an absolute gem! The restaurant offers a breathtaking view of Mount Vesuvius — every moment here feels special. Atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and sophisticated. A huge thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome, and a special shoutout to Martina — she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, which made our evening even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

The restaurant La Terrazza di Lucullo is situated within the Hotel Caesar Augustus, a luxurious 5 star establishment in Anacapri, the highest part of the island. Perched on the cliff edge, some 300 meters above the sea, the hotel, like the restaurant dining room and terrace, enjoy the most magnificent views over Capri and the Bay of Naples.
