I’m incredibly and endlessly inspired after my stay in Capri — first of all because I stayed in an amazingly comfortable, clean, and cozy hotel with the best staff and owner, a perfect location, and delicious breakfasts. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen people treat their work with such respect for details, sincerity, and dedication — it truly touched my heart! I also received valuable advice at the hotel that helped me avoid the overly touristic places. This place, and the example of such management and care, will stay in my heart forever. ❤️

Wonderful family-run hotel in a quiet part of Capri, near the Gardens of Augustus. A 4 minute walk to Piazza Umberto. Ettore was a wonderful host, with great recommendations on unique hikes, restaurants, and things to do that a lifelong resident of Capri would know. Clean rooms. Very comfortable. Good breakfast. Ocean views from room terrace and patio. Took care of our every need, including luggage transfer. Nunzio and Nancy

Hotel La Tosca was a very welcome home base for our family of 4 on a recent Capri holiday. The location was outstanding: right near the Piazzetta and also super close to the most stunning scenic walk to the prettiest beach in Capri. Wow! What a place. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. I noticed they have “upgraded” the terrace since these photos on TripAdvisor and it has far less character now but it also has protection from the wind for which I was very grateful. The biggest plus of this place: Ettore the manager. He gave the best/ most helpful tips for our wandering around Capri. Saved us a tonne on our visit to Marina Piccola by explaining how to enjoy the free public beach which was a perfect option for us. He has a wealth of information he readily shares so I recommend chatting to him before you book or arrange anything. Can definitely recommend La Tosca.

Hotel La Tosca is located in the center of Capri, within easy walking distance of the Piazzetta, the Charterhouse of San Giacomo and the Gardens of Augustus.

From the terrace of the Gardens of Augustus a spectacular view of the Faraglioni can be seen. Next to the gardens, the Via Krupp leads down to the beach of Marina Piccola.

The island's main bus terminal, taxi stand and funicular train station are located right next to the Piazzetta.
