Le Camerelle

This restaurant was the sweetest surprise on my recent visit to Capri. The food was incredible, the wines were amazing, and both the decor and music being played each night was such vibe. Everything was perfect - and in that, my biggest compliment is to Marilu. My friend and I were new to Capri, and desperately wanted to explore more of the island from a local's point of view - as opposed to just looking in all the shops. Marilu offered us a list of places to visit, a full background of history for the island (and region), and was really just a joy to meet all around. The next day, we followed went everywhere she said we should go, and had the most AMAZING time. It was honestly our favorite day on the island. And then in the evening, we came back to Le Camerelle for dinner and drinks once again, because the food is truly exquisite and everyone there is so kind. This restaurant was our sweetest surprise.

Giseppi is the best!! He really made our afternoon. He was so friendly and kind! 5 stars for him. :)

First of all, the positive impact due to the care of the furnishings and the taste, then a very pleasant, romantic, young and youthful atmosphere... very kind, prompt and attentive service, excellent quality food and exquisite local specialties, refined live music that is not noisy, and finally we must give a special thanks to Marilù for kindly improvising a surprise, welcome, and classy little celebration for us, complete with a live musical dedication for our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you all, you were special.

We had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Le Camerelle during our stay in Capri and we can sincerely say that it was a wonderful experience, made of flavors, care, and a lot of professionalism. My husband and I started with some fresh, delicate, and exquisite anchovies. For the main course, we chose a sea bass in foil with capers and olives: simply exceptional! A dish rich in Mediterranean aromas and flavors, prepared with great mastery. And then the desserts... a real final treat! We chose the caprese and the lemon delight, both superlative and perfect for concluding an already extraordinary dinner. A special thanks goes to Aldo, who served us with great professionalism, punctuality, and above all with truly rare attention. He was thoughtful and attentive to every detail, helping to make our evening even more pleasant. Le Camerelle is one of those places that leaves a good memory and that you want to recommend with all your heart. Excellent cuisine, authentic flavors, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes everything even more special. Compliments to the whole staff and thank you for the wonderful evening!
