Le Camerelle

Elegant location, we were welcomed very kindly. Courteous service, two menus... the lunch menu and the restaurant menu. No distinction explained between the two, but there is a difference!!! In the lunch menu, smaller portions and insignificant flavor... I had calamari with octopus and olives... followed by an antacid for my stomach. Feel free to continue with the foreigners... my expectations for good food are different!

Excellent cuisine; the octopus from the appetizer was fabulous and abundant, the paccheri with fish or eggplant were both fabulous, the buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto were very generous, prices were reasonable, but it was a pity that they proposed a double seating and we had to leave at 10:30.

We went to dinner aware that we would pay, but not to dine on practically bland dishes and even without any flavor. Starters with a plate of raw seafood and tartare completely tasteless, only upon request did they bring oil, salt, and pepper, with an oil not suitable for fish due to its overpowering taste. First course with scorpion fish, practically raw and flavorless. Lemon spaghetti and shrimp were insignificant. The only good things were the gin and tonic (22€, simple Tanqueray) and the adequate Bolognese. The wine was warm… A disappointment for €90 per person and the regret of seeing such an exclusive and iconic location for the island, the level does not even reach adequacy…
