Big is beautiful

Designed for those with a healthy appetite, at Lo Sfizio you won't find fancy creative recipes or nouvelle cuisine style rationing, but rather abundant portions of traditional ravioli capresi, sea food linguine, and the very freshest of local fish.

Finger-licking good

Lo Sfizio is famous for its pizzas, cooked in a traditional wood burning oven, and its grilled chicken, the restaurant's much-loved signature dish.

At Lo Sfizio, clients eat in the main dining room or outside, at one of the tables positioned on the path leading to Villa Jovis, or in the small garden next to the restaurant.

That's where we're headed... uphill

We chose this restaurant because we wanted pizza but nobody told us that if you walk from the center of Capri to the restaurant it's more than 400m uphill, it was worth it … no The service was terrible, they practically threw things at us and cleared them away without any care. The arugula and tomato salad, very fresh and the tomatoes ripe but without dressing, bland. The pizza we ordered was with prosciutto (it was conspicuous by its absence) and the funghi mushroom also just passed by, what it did have were button mushrooms. The dough was good like any pizza made in an oven. The house wine was bad. I wouldn't go back

Worth the journey

One of the best restaurants in Capri. We have been coming to Capri for the past 20 years and always make sure we eat there. Best food and service. Became friends with Annalisa and always great to see her and enjoy our dinner experience. It’s a 15 minute walk from the Pizzata but worth this short journey. Last night we shared a fresh sea bass which was delicious. Don’t forget the lemon sponge cake for dessert. All home made. You will not be disappointed. Ciao

Excellent restaurant with a varied menu of fish and meat. The only downside is that it takes a long time to get there and the walk is all uphill. Bring your breath. Affordable prices and generous portions.

The restaurant is nice and the waiters are very friendly, but unfortunately the food was only mediocre. Too bad, one would have expected more here!
