Lo Sfizio, on Via Tiberio, is a restaurant that feels like home, but with an attention to detail you wouldn't expect. The dishes are those of the Campanian tradition, basic at heart but enriched by small modern insights that make them more interesting without distorting them. The prices? Fair, and in Capri that is saying something. Perfect for a family dinner: the atmosphere is informal, but the service has a professional and friendly approach that immediately puts you at ease. Although the evening was muggy, the garden provided a cool and pleasant corner – eating outdoors, in the summer, is all you can ask for. We didn't go inside, but looking at it from the entrance it seemed a bit dated, better that way, the garden remains the right choice. The kitchen was punctual: wait times were right, never a dull moment, never rushed. The credit also goes to a well-orchestrated dining room, which keeps the pace without ever making you lose the thread of the evening. Do not come here for sophisticated dinners or Instagrammable dishes. Come to eat well, with taste and without bitter surprises. And in Capri, this is already a luxury.

Seated on the terrace, we enjoyed the dishes we chose, which were very well cooked. Fresh homemade pasta, spaghetti con gamberi siciliani e burrata, delicious, and a perfect filetto di branzino. The welcome is pleasant.

It is located a bit far from the center of Capri, the pizzas were not good, very chewy dough with the topping sliding off.... Exaggerated prices, €5.00 for 1 bottle of water and €4.00 per person for the cover charge, not to mention the margherita pizza at €14.00.... As a restaurant, I am not able to leave reviews, but the first courses start at €30.00, so judge for yourselves.
