Rosticceria Buonocore

The best ice cream I have eaten in all my days in Italy!!! We even wanted to go back to repeat, but the queue was too big. 10/10

Overrated both as ice cream and as a deli/cafeteria. Moreover, the latter is very expensive. One positive aspect, however, is that at least it is not touristy but offers authentic recipes.

Went for 4:00 pm Espresso and bakery treat in Capri. I asked about the pastry that I selected and the grumpy lady behind the counter said it was chocolate. I paid and when the plate of goodies was delivered I thought to ask if this was made with Nutella. She said yes and turned away from me. I advised that I specifically asked for chocolate and that she said nothing about Nutella, for which my wife is highly allergic. The lady was mean and rude and took back the dessert but didn’t offer anything else and I had already paid. I walked up to the counter and requested a replacement selection and she provided it to me and then demanded another 50 cents for the pastry. Disappointing experience for a guest that is visiting. Treat me like a paying customer who chose your store over many others, not as if you are doing me a favor. Don’t go here unless you want rude people serving you.
