Villa Margherita

The restaurant was fabulouse not only for the beautiful atmosphere but for the incredible food and service. We loved it so much that we went twice. I highly reckoned it.

What a great dinner. Wonderful first course of grilled seafood treats including awesome langostinos. Great chicken with terrific gravy and a great steak. The chef there is quite terrific. And what a beautiful setting with a great view. We have been there many times but this last time was the best it's ever been - they are at the top of their game.

Unfortunately, we rated this restaurant as just above average. The pluses were the setting which was lovely and being greeted by the host gave it a personal touch. However, the food was nothing special coupled with the extortionate cost of it. An average meal for two cost €300 for two with a bottle of standard wine. We would have expected for this price that we wouldn’t be pouring our own wine and water at the table — service could be more attentive.
